• How do I change my Bible translation?
  Go to the Settings tab and select your preferred translation (KJV, NIV, NKJV, or NLT).
• Why does KJV work offline but others don't?
  KJV is public domain and bundled in the app. NIV, NKJV, and NLT are fetched from a licensed API and require an internet connection.
• How do I bookmark a verse?
  Tap the bookmark icon on any verse card. Find your saved verses in the Saved tab.
• Can I share a verse?
  Tap the share icon on any verse card to share as text via Messages, email, or social media.
• What moods are available?
  MoodBible offers 20 moods across two categories: "I'm struggling with..." (Sad, Anxious, Scared, Angry, Lonely, Hopeless, Overwhelmed, Guilty, Jealous, Confused, Exhausted, Grieving) and "I'm feeling..." (Happy, Grateful, Encouraged, Loved, Hopeful, Renewed, Inspired, Blessed).

What we don't collect:

• No personal data (name, email, phone)
• No usage analytics or tracking
• No location data
• No advertising identifiers

What stays on your device:

• Bookmarked verses
• Your preferred Bible translation
• Appearance settings (light/dark mode)

Third-party services:

When you select NIV, NKJV, or NLT translations, verse text is fetched from API.Bible (operated by the American Bible Society). No personal information is sent with these requests — only the verse reference. See API.Bible's terms and conditions for details.

Children's privacy:

MoodBible is safe for all ages and does not collect data from anyone, including children under 13.

Changes to this policy:

Any updates will be posted on this page with an updated effective date.
